I had the most delightful first time at Berdena's at the Fred this morning. This light airy space has cozy booths, indoor long tables, and sweet, sunny courtyard seats among water features and plants. Space is tight but I like the intimate feel of it. Baristas gave personal attention with genuine smiles. Kendrick the manager is a sweetheart who shared his Spotify list with me -- a fantastic mix of music (not too loud) that made the vibe of the place really shine. And the coffee! So yum! Smooth and robust and served in a real ceramic coffee mug. Heaven! I'll be back. Welcome to Uptown. ;-)

Very beautiful location both the inside and outside seating. The coffee is great, nothing overly sweet, milk was a great texture! You can tell the baristas take pride in what they are doing.

FAAAAAAVE new coffee shop in Central Phoenix!!! Love the open bright airy space (crushing on the big windows and alllll the plants), the lattes & the pastries are amaaazing (pastries made ‘in-house’), and the team couldn’t be sweeter. The outside vibe is just as magical. Love the courtyard at The Fred. Just stop by. It might be your new fave spot, too!

Amazing coffee and pastries, but it losses some stars for 1 reason. The pastries are never here when the shop opens. Understandable that they’re driving from Scottsdale, but they always arrive 15-30 minutes after opening. All we want are pastries first thing haha. Other than the pastries arriving late, I love the staff at this location. The rose cardamom latte is so unique and all their syrups are house made.

Such a super cool spot for a quick snack and tasty coffee. Nice place to study or hang with a few friends. Love the decor and space. Enjoyed 4 shots of espresso over ice with vanilla and lite cream and it was delicious.

Absolutely lovely coffee shop in North Phoenix. Coffee was amazing, shop is very cute, and ample inside and outside seating. Small bites and pastries are available along with coffee bags for sale. Love, love that we came here and can't wait to come back!!

Great place with an amazing ambience — their cinnamon rolls are top-notch! I love cute little spots like this. The staff were wonderful and super kind. Drinks are fantastic. It’s the perfect time in November and December: cold weather, sitting outside, enjoying the breeze and that feeling of freedom.
